A Lifetime's Journey by Zoe and Bill - Logie Country House Wedding Film

There are some wedding days where the story seems to come together all by itself.
Zoe and Bill’s wedding at Logie Country House was one of those days. As a wedding videographer filming across Aberdeenshire and Scotland, I’m always looking for the little details that make a wedding feel like their wedding, rather than simply another day of nice dresses, confetti and dancing.
And there were plenty of those here.
Bill’s speech took us through Tesco meal deals, the RAF, several potential career paths and a few stories about their rather colourful driving history. But underneath all the laughs was something much simpler: a story about finding the person who makes life better.
He talked about meeting Zoe five and a half years earlier and knowing there was something different about her. She became his best friend, his partner and the person he could always come home to.
It was that sense of a shared journey that became the thread running through their Logie Country House wedding film.
The setting certainly helped. Logie Country House is a beautiful place to get married, but when I'm filming a wedding, the venue is only ever part of the story. What matters most are the people, the relationships and all those little moments that you probably won't remember until you see them back in your film.
That's what I love about wedding videography. I'm not looking to manufacture perfect moments or turn the day into something it wasn't. I want to capture the laughs, the nerves, the chaos, the quiet bits and the people who made the day what it was.
For Zoe and Bill, that story became A Lifetime’s Journey.
