As a wedding videographer at Meldrum House Hotel, I get to capture all kinds of stories—some loud and lively, others more quiet and considered. Megan and Euan’s day was firmly in the latter camp: thoughtful, relaxed, and completely grounded in who they are as a couple.

They met the way many couples do now—after a right swipe—and had their first date on Burns Night. Years later, Euan proposed in Venice. After days of trying to find the right moment and a spot that wasn’t swarming with tourists (or dangerously close to a canal), he chose their hotel room on the last night—simple, private, and perfectly them.

Meldrum House was the ideal backdrop for their wedding. The atmosphere, the understated elegance, and the natural light made it a dream to film. These are the kinds of weddings I love to shoot—real moments, genuine people, and a setting that doesn’t need overstatement.
